SRI’s Artificial Intelligence Center (AIC) advances the most critical areas of AI and machine learning. They develop methods for building intelligent systems that learn, perceive and interact with the world, both autonomously and in collaboration with humans.

AIC is currently searching for a Computer Scientist to join our team.  The Computer Scientist will conduct basic and applied research in the areas of machine learning, computer vision and signal processing, with an emphasis on multimedia integrity and the security of machine learning systems. 

Responsibilities will include contributing to existing research projects through concept design, algorithm development, and evaluation; enhancing visibility of the lab through publishing and engagement with the broader research community; formulating new research directions; and collaborating to secure funding for new projects.

• Ph.D. in Computer Science or related field
• US Citizen with ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.
• Strong understanding of fundamentals of machine learning and deep learning, along with knowledge of state-of-the-art solution approaches
• Experience with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow and Scikit-Learn

The salary range is: $117545.00-$174545.00  Salary ranges will vary and are based on several factors, including geographic location, market competitiveness and equity amongst internal employees in similar roles.  Positions may also qualify for SRI's Pay for Outstanding Performance program or the annual Performance Based Compensation program.
