From applied research to product development, the Advanced Technology and Systems Division (ATSD) manages complex projects for government and commercial clients. QED-C is seeking interns to assist in enhancing and implementing new application-oriented benchmark programs and techniques in a public open-source project.  Interns will be able to work a hybrid schedule if you are local to the Arlington, VA office or work fully remotely.  Opportunities are available part-time during the spring semester and full-time during the summer.

• Quantum
• RF systems/hardware (antennas, analog circuits, cascaded system analysis)
• FPGA with RF/signal processing knowledge
• Mechanical development engineer -> must be hands on
• Radar signal processing
• EO/IR signal processing and system design/modeling
• Physics informed machine learning

• Expertise in at least one (preferably more) quantum programming environments such as Qiskit, Cirq, Braket, PennyLane, and Q#.
• We hire students at the B.S., M.S., and PhD level depending on internship requirements.  Ideally candidates will be majoring in an Engineering field or a related technical discipline.

Salary ranges will vary and are based on several factors, including geographic location, market competitiveness and equity amongst internal employees in similar roles.
