Overview

Material & Inventory Management is essential support to maintain the manufacturing of microcircuits (integrated circuits) at SRI International (formerly Sarnoff Corporation). Through SRI's Generalized Emulation of Microcircuits (GEM) program Check out our work!, the Microcircuit Emulation Center supplies form, fit, function, and interface replacements for obsolete microcircuits. This capability supports production, re-design and sustainment requirements for the life of a weapon system. SRI’s Microcircuit Emulation Center is a government-supported, U.S.-based Trusted foundry. We are looking for a Material Inventory Coordinator to work onsite at our Princeton, NJ facility Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm.

Responsibilities

  • Complete ESD training provided by SRI prior to handling any product or testing
  • Vendor and Customer shipments – prepare product, appropriate paperwork and update applicable databases electronic and manual
  • Vendor Receipts – visual inspections, verify product assembly and/or test requirements, distribute product to required area(s) and update applicable databases, electronic and manual
  • Perform inspections and procedures in line with quality standard MIL PRF 38535 for materials and microcircuits
  • Perform regular physical/manual inventory cycle counts, reconcile discrepancies, update applicable databases
  • Will track, audit and organize components and finished products within the designated inventory location
  • Maintain clean, organized inventory space
  • Reconcile Inventory Managment System data with Shipping and Order documents
  • Resolve issues, such as lead times on needed products
  • Exercise good judgement, such as knowing when items are in production or need to be ordered, lead time needed for items for final product delivery etc..
  • Perform electrical testing of microcircuits as needed per MIL PRF 38535 and MIL STD 883
  • Meet scheduled commitments

Qualifications

  • 1+ year of related experience, inventory control, coordination, material management or related
  • HS diploma or equivalent
  • Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident, due to contract requirements
  • Microsoft Office and database experience:
    • Excel/Google Sheets - basic calculations
    • Databases - data entry, updates
  • Able to analyze, solve problems, and communicate in a professional environment
  • Able to work with minimal supervision and follow specific workflow instructions
  • Able to multi-task with attention to detail, and work well in fast paced environment
  • Demonstrate organizational skills

The salary range is: $23.46-$31.08. Salary ranges will vary and are based on several factors, including geographic location, market competitiveness and equity amongst internal employees in similar roles. Positions may also qualify for SRI's Pay for Outstanding Performance program or the annual Performance Based Compensation program.
