The Over Water Impact Location (OWIL) group is developing software to configure, command, monitor, and utilize sensors mounted on unmanned surface vehicles (USVs) to analyze the accuracy of DoD test weapons. Responsibilities for a Software Engineering intern include working with a small team to develop software modules that control commercial components to collect data. Other software analyzes the data to produce weapon accuracy “scores”. This opportunity provides experience of integrating software with hardware components for mission-focused work on DoD test events.
This position will work onsite at our Princeton, NJ office
The salary range is: $20-$27/hr. Salary ranges will vary and are based on several factors, including geographic location, market competitiveness and equity amongst internal employees in similar roles. Positions may also qualify for SRI's Pay for Outstanding Performance program or the annual Performance Based Compensation program.
