Join our expanding Clinical Trials team in Plymouth, MI. Candidates with a background in clinical research are encouraged to apply. We are a small but mighty team conducting life-changing clinical trials since 2013. The clinical trial work we do is largely related to the safety of society, for example, radiation therapeutics, or vaccine development. We are also actively expanding therapeutic areas in our clinical trials and are looking to add 1-2 team members to our clinical research nursing staff who will be dedicated to the growth of our team, and the high quality of our work. Because our team is lean, and clinical trials are dependent on patient availability, we look for clinical research nurses with flexible schedules seeking part-time positions. We are looking for a creative and energetic research scientist with vast experience in digital and analog hardware circuit design and practical background in electrical engineering capabilities and machine learning. A successful candidate needs to demonstrate the ability of conducting state-of-the-art research, preferably in the areas of computer vision, digital circuit, efficient edge computing, and system design. The goal of the research is to develop end-to-end systems in applications for imaging, vision and other sensing domains. The right candidate will possess a strong technical background and hardware development understanding methods for working across different programs and teams, and must be able to thrive and succeed in a fast-paced research environment.
From image capture to situational understanding, SRI’s Center for Vision Technologies (CVT) offers end-to-end vision solutions that translate into real-world applications. Our scientists pioneered real-time, real-world computer vision with the early development of pyramid/wavelet processing that enabled analysis with unprecedented speed and precision. They continue today with a broad array of advances in visual navigation, 3D scene modeling, and object and activity recognition.
The Vision and Robotics group in CVT is searching for a Sr. Technical Manager who will lead cutting edge applied research projects in areas such as multi-robot collaboration, human-robot collaboration, active perception and navigation, 3D scene understanding and fine grain recognition.
